The girls of middle school age also had a question and answer session Friday night about rescued dogs and their invited guest was Truman, a Siberian Husky waiting for his new loving forever home.  The girls were very attentive to the facts about pet overpopulation, the need for spaying and neutering of pets, available animals for adoption through rescue groups in the Dallas Metroplex area.  This event gave credit for the girls for a specific advanced recognition in Girl Scouts.
